February 14, 2002 TLF is founded by Gregroy Hines, Andrew J. Nemr, and Joseph Nemr
2002-2004 TLF garners the active support of living legends of tap dance establishing the Foundation as a cornerstone in the community.
May 17, 2004 In honor of James "Buster" Brown's birthday, TLF launches it's online presence: www.taplegacy.org
April 15, 2005 TLF receives an in kind donation of a one-of-a-kind tap instrument from Dodger Stage Holding Theatricals, Inc., made possible through our strategic partnership with Harariville Recording Studios.
April 18, 2005 TLF releases the first edition of the Tap Legacy Reference Catalogue.
May 29, 2005 TLF produces Harold Cromer's Opus One presented in Mr. Cromer's honor and with his permission as part of the Tap Extravaganza, Fashion Institute of Technology Haft Auditorium, New York City, NY.
July 22 and 23, 2005 TLF unveils the Tap Legacy Instrument in the 23 PRiME, Inc. production of All for Love.
March 31-April 2, 2006 TLF co-produces the First Annual Finger Lakes Tap Dance Festival.
May 17, 2006 TLF launches a revamped website celebrating James "Buster" Brown's birthday and TLF's two year anniversary online.
May 25, 2006 TLF presents a commemorative plaque in honor of LeRoy Myers at Showmans Jazz Club, Harlem, New York.
February 14, 2007 TLF launches GregoryHines.org tribute website.
March 30-April 1, 2007 TLF presents the 2007 Finger Lakes Tap Dance Festival, hosted by Ithaca College.
April 30, 2007 TLF establishes Henry LeTang Fund, for the continued promotion of the LeTang legacy.
June 18, 2007 TLF presents "Dr. Henry LeTang - A Birthday Celebration".
June 19, 2007 TLF launches HenryLeTang.org tribute website, in honor of Dr. LeTang's 92nd birthday.
January, 2008 Tap Legacy Instrument showcased in the 23 Prime, Inc. production Where the Music Lives
March 28-30, 2008 TLF presents the 2008 Finger Lakes Tap Dance Festival, hosted by Ithaca College.
May 16, 2008 TLF launches www.jimmyslyde.org.
June 19, 2008 TLF launches the Tap Dancer's Birthday Calendar, in celebration of Dr. Henry LeTang's birthday.
